All,

I want to use an FT232BM for my (hobbyist) project. But, I really really
don't fancy my chances of being able to solder the LQFP package with my
soldering iron, and also this package isn't very helpful for prototyping on
a breadboard.

Does anyone know of a supplier who either:-

- makes an equivalent chip in a larger package
- provides FT232's presoldered on an adaptor pcb (say with legs that match
DIL32 or something)?

or does anyone else have any ideas of how I can use this chip without
investing in expensive SM soldering equipment?
