Correct, I also saw that.

It actualy specifies (on page 11) the
"IC1:HD44780UA (HITACHI)" as the controler
used.

So it's even better than "compatible", right?
:-)

Apart from the ready built modules (with switches and all)
there are also aprox 1000 "naked" displays of the same type...
We'll see if a dare to invest in them :-)
