Don't get too defensive, we are on your side! I have run some pretty obscue modulation in the name of fast scan tv in the past with some pretty shaky id methods. I have wondered about the controllers on 432 also. I think the Bulldog system I put on my van uses it. The Ham band RC gear is available from most manufacturers but I have chosen to stick with the 72 mhz band for convienience. I would like to build my own receiver as well and getting away from 6 meters would be welcome. I chased out the links in this thread and a Phillips TDA7021 chip was mentioned. It seems to be a current product but I could only find one vendor who handles it and that is a qty=50 at $1.35 per unit. I have lots of airplanes varying from expendable to $3K plus, so this is a very interesting topic!
