Hello,

Can anyone give me a few clues to driving a CD ROM player for use as a
standalone audio CD player?

I'm sure I can drive the bus easily enough with a PIC or similar but I
can't find details of the control codes to select tracks, play, pause
etc. I don't want the data - just the audio from the onboard DAC.

Any other suggestions for a front loading audio CD player with remote
control would be most welcome.
