If you jerks post on and on about Olin or Mike or who ever ruffed your
feathers today, AND USE THE [PIC:] TAG, (or anything other than [OT:] or no
tag, and I see that you have not posted anything one tenth as helpful as
Olin or Mike:

     I'm going to just kick you off the list. FINAL WARNING.

I don't have time to argue with self appointed list police who have no
respect for the time of people who do bother to help. I don't like public
bitching on the list, and I will NOT tolerate it with a [PIC:] tag.
Especially from people who do not post helpful information.

Yes Olin is often a jerk. He is the official list curmudgeon. I'm seriously
thinking about amending the list FAQ to warn newbies about him and to
include a few words about why he hasn't been removed. Something like:

NEWBIE WARNING: If you post code without comments or don't bother to write a
clear and complete description of your problem, Olin will probably make fun
of you. On the other hand, if you do take the time to "do it right" Olin
will probably be the one who actually helps you solve your problem. Please
keep in mind that this is NOT a business; it is a free list. Be grateful.

Also, you guys who respond to this tripe WITHOUT changing the tag, aren't
helping.

And yes, I know that I'm posting this with a [PIC:] tag.
