I've used Acute's USB PKLA1616 for a few months and found it an extremely helpful tool. The basic triggering and capture functions/parameters are completely adequate for day-to-day use. The Help is rather thin (likely because it's Taiwanese in origin, possibly would be better in Chinese rather than Engrish), which is one reason I've not tried some advanced features. Instead of step-by-step explanations, it uses specific terms in a very general sense, meaning you have to root out for yourself what things do. But it's not that big of a deal once you get into it It's possible to have two LA Viewer programs open, which kind of expands it from a 16-ch to 32-ch, although there's only one 16-ch "pod" (ie physical sampler). It can sample from 100Hz to 200MHz. The 1616 can take 1048576 samples (h100000) corresponding to 5.243ms at 200MHz and almost 3 hours at 100Hz =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D Some specs from the Help - note that the 1616 not included. It's an external USB device and is not fitted as a PCI card. These specs also tend to emphasise maximums.
