This MUSIC INDUSTRY business was strongly influential about 18 months ago. I tried to get SONY MEMORYSTICK PROGRAMMING SPECS and was refused any info unless (1) I proved myself to be an engineer employeed by a major company, and (2) when I paid a $10,000 fee to join the club. At that point, I steered away from anything except MMC. I'm glad I did. MMC is the only one that I feel comfortable with. --Bob At 09:25 PM 8/20/2003 -0400, you wrote: >Sean wrote: > > >> With DirecTV suing anyone and everyone who bought a smart card > >> reader/programmer, without any evidence whatsoever of their having used >it > >> to hack into the DirecTV receptions, > > > LOL - I hadn't heard this!
