I have built a clone of Wouters XWisp software: written in C, source available (see XWisp2 on my homepage, URL below). I have built it to be able to use Wisp628 under OS/2 (my personal favourite) without Python. XWisp2 has been prepared to be adapted to other O/S-es like Linux, but so far nobody has done it (as far as I know), why not you? BTW It uses an ASCII text file with PIC programming parameters, among which of course the device-ID. Most current flash-PICS are in.
