Hi!

I need to switch on and off 4x(36W @ 220Vac) fluorescent tubes using a
rele (solid state ?) or something similar, because I want to light
them from a switch and from a push button and from a 24v source (the
motor's garage).

I know that in the case of just a switch, too much ons and offs will
damage it, so I am not sure wich kind of rele should I use, or if
there is a circuit for turn the lights on (i.e. a triac that turns on
at 0 mains crossing - when to turn it off ?).

Any help or idea would be appreciate.
