But I think with the 16F84 it's like with the 80C31/51 Microcontroller. V= ery=20 popular and widely used, but that doesn't mean that it is the best!! :-) The biggest problem with that is, most programmers you find on the net ar= e=20 best for the 16f84's, but worth nothing for the other chips. For example I've found an easy to build programmer for the 16f84 and 16f8= 77,=20 and I thought it would just fit my needs for the MP3 project...
