The "standard" folklore on the old Epson inkjet listserve group was: Windex window cleaning solution. If you live in an area that doesn't have that brand, look for an ammoniated window cleaning spray. If you search the web, you should find several sites detailing how to use it. Some people get results in minutes; others reported soaking over night. As usual, ymmv. I used it once on my Epson with good results; Xerox machines may be a completely different story...
