It is not easy to find a reasonable priced ESD foam from my recent experience. I once talked to Gary Plastic Packaging Corp (718-893-2200) and they were very generous to send me several sheets of high and medium density foam sheets about 12"x12" (1/4" thick) free of charge. Anyway, the price isn't cheap. Later, an overseas component supplier found me a cheaper ESD foam, size12"x12"x 1/4", with a slight glossy finish, and I have made a sample order of 50 sheets to send along with a recent shipment I have. I think they should work for general IC storage purposes. I don't have a spec sheet on it now. If you like, I can send you some to try. They are about C$4 per piece, my cost. Let me know if I can help.
