I'm new to microcontroller programming / circuit design. Yesterday I ordered an SX Tech Kit from Parallax, and am pretty anxious for it to get here. I know from experience that mailing lists are a good way to learn, since someone is bound to ask, or have asked, questions that I may have. I just thought that I'd take a minute to introduce myself to the list members before I jump in and ask a bunch of questions. I've got a good electrical controls background, PLC's, inverters, control wiring, etc..., so I'm hoping not to have too many problems with the electronics side of things. I'm planning on working through the tutorials, and already have some projects in mind, but if anyone has any good ideas on educational projects, please let me know, I'm always looking for reasons to stay up late. :-) At any rate, I've already learned quite a bit reading posts, and I look forward to learning much more from all of you in the future.
