Just a comment, a friend of mine blew up his ICD2 within the first week of getting it. Apparently the power up sequence is very important. If the target system is powered before the ICD2 then the buffer chip in the ICD2 can blow. Symptom is message "target not present". Tricky to replace (SSOP package). According to the vendor he isn't the first to do this. -- Brent Brown, Electronic Design Solutions 16 English Street, Hamilton, New Zealand Ph/fax: +64 7 849 0069 Mobile/txt: 025 334 069 eMail: brent.brown@clear.net.nz -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
