I finally contacted my client about failing EPROMS (27C256) from
overexposure to UV. I asked if he was still having failures.

He indicated that he was still having failures sometimes, but caught a tech
installing a couple backwards, so maybe the failures were NOT from
overexposure.

However, when asked if he'd put in a new bulb, he said no. That original
bulb is now 5 yrs old. Its output is probably 25% of what it was,
anyway.  But he said they still erase in 5 minutes! Duh..So many the
overexposure is a minimal or non-existent problem...
