[Moved to OT] > The only mail clients that do NOT handle this type of message encoding > "attachment" correctly anymore are Outlook Express and the older > versions of Outlook. (I think Outlook XP might finally work properly, > but haven't tested it.) Agreed, but some of us are stuck with OE or Outlook. In Outlook, the message is blank in the preview window but opens correctly in the message window. As a result, I skim over it and delete it without reading. Other unfortunates using the same software probably do the same. From private correspondence with Aubrey, he's figured out a way round it, by turning MIME encoding off. Even if it is not pointed out very graciously, the idea of making your queries easy to read is a good one. Personally I'd prefer it if those who couldn't read other people's messages (or understand their broken English or poor grammar) would either try harder to understand them or ignore them, rather than complain about it and add more noise... That's the end of my noise... back to your regularly scheduled signal! Nigel -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
