For a 12F675, the only thing I could think of would be a Zener Vref at a low-ish voltage, and run Vdd thru a divider to get, say, a 0-2.5V range instead of 0-5V. Problem is, the PIC will operate well below the minumum Vref value, and the extra stuff would probably draw more curent than the PIC itself without using the ADC. If you figure something out, I'm interested too. I have a 16F628 project now for which I'd love to figure out the same thing.
