With the PG2C, Olimex provides access to the six signals associated with programming, the idea being to provide ICSP capability as well as programming via the socket. However, as the PG2 programmer runs off the Serial Port, its GRD is actually the nominal -8 VDC from the PC COM port. This is fine as long as the system is floating.
