Except in microwave components, where usualy the electrons are tunneling. Knowing this, I'm wandering any time I'm reading about the conventional and real "flow" sense of the electrons if it's true... It's easy for analysing to adopt a standard, but I believe it's not the real truth. The best example is the skin effect, even at very low frequencies. The other good example is the supraconductor wire.
