As you know I am a big supporter of RAMTRON, with their FRAM I2C / SPI scratchpads. They have unlimited R/W, high speeds, up to 32Kx8 and also a unique FRAM / Time clock / WDT chip. I too have had problems locating FRAM parts. So... I called a buddy (Mary Lovell) at Ramtron. Their website DOESN'T indicate this but they will take small orders with Visa / MasterCard. Call them at 1-800-545-FRAM. Ask for Jamie Gauld (1st) or Mary Lovell (2nd), have your CC ready. BTW, mary is in charge of interfacing with you UK and EU guys. --Bob Tel: 719-481-7000 or 800-545-FRAM Fax: 719-481-7058 framinfo@ramtron.com Europe Sales Support: Mary Lovell Customer Service & Sales Support Manager mlovell@ramtron.com North America and Asia Pacific Sales Support Jamie Gauld Customer Service & Sales Support Manager j.gauld@ramtron.com --Bob Axtell At 11:55 AM 8/4/2003 -0400, you wrote: >Well, if you have board space, try one of the Maxim parallel NVSRAMs with >the appropriate number of 'HC164s or 'HC595s -- these work wonderfully with >the SPI module, and you can connect a pseudo-CS to both. > >Cheers, >Ishaan > >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Adi Linden" >To: >Sent: Monday, August 04, 2003 11:11 >Subject: Re: Recommendations for SPI Serial RAM > > > > > Atmel have a lot of diferent memory options. > > > Try it! > > > > I couldn't find any RAM, though.
