Hi Vasile, Actually after 1 year (or more maybe) we were able to finish it. We have succesfully connected about 300 units on about 3 kilometers distance and it has been running for about 3 months now. It is working on battery with 10 years of life (repeaters have lesser time). But the whole project cost us 5 times more than we inticipated :-) and probably 5 times longer!!! It's nice to see you back, Best regards, Omer YALHI -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of Vasile Surducan Sent: Monday, August 04, 2003 10:44 AM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [EE]: Reed switch and cable Don't be upset Mike, but Horowitz and Hill does not lie on every fences in Turkey... Omer, I haven't seen the picture, but I'm glad you've done some progress on your RS485 interconnections. I'm still here having some fully functionaly RS485 projects... :) The last one have a 12F675 AD readout/intrc and send over the RS485 at 2400bps. top 10 wishes, Vasile http://surducan.netfirms.com -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
