In my humble opinion, I think we should strongly consider changing the
format to more of a "bulletin board" type format. I personally would
stop reading the list if it went to Yahoo!

I would be happy to setup and run good PHP based bulletin board such as
http://www.phpbb.com/, and I think the bandwidth would be far less than
an email list. We could log on once a day, check only the forums that
interest us - IE: EE, PIC, etc. or simply click on a users name to see
all posts by them...

But the bandwidth does cost $$$ and I think that a user pays system
would have merit. $1 per month sounds more than reasonable for all the
great help on this list.
