I am guessing that the three wires are wired toan XLR plug, which is the standard mic coneecetion in profesional audio. Take a look at some of the amps ( I have a CA12 from Crest) lookat their website for the connections to the am and it will show how the XLR is connected. I Do not think the diode is nexcessary. If it has a stereo mini plug on it, you may just want to wire it up as left, right and ground. I have a Sure SM-58 on my puter, but I also have it going through a mixer and Lexicon effects genereator so all the wiring is already done. Hope this helps. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY! [EE]:,[OT]: ->Other [BUY]:,[AD]: ->Ads
