You can use most any dark dye, just make sure it dosen't have a lot of Carbon. I got that advise from Polaroid, when researching this for a project. They tell me that except for carbon, it's pretty hard to block IR in Lexan or ABS. I once got some "white" abs that was supposed to be IR opaque, (the original samples were!) but the production material wasn't quite the same color, and was basically like frosted glass to IR.
