You also have to set up the register(s) CMCON and/or CVRCON, I think...

I'm trying to set up port A to have RA0 as analog and the rest digital.
I set everything up and it works when ADCON1 is 00000000 which in the
datasheet says all the port A pins are set as analog, but when i switch
it to 00001110 which should be all digital except RA0, it doesn't work.
I checked the errata thinking maybe... but no. The midrange mcu
datasheet doesn't give any more detail either. I won't waste your time
posting the code, cuz it works with 00000000.. thanks everyone :-(
