Currently there are 1546 subscribers. Many more follow by newsgroup and =
archive. Few activly post.

Average number of posts per day is 101.533333333333 so far this month. I =
was supprised by that. Seems like more...=20

Plus an average of 100 admin emails per day to each admin adds another =
3.9 MBPD which isn't significant I guess.

But that 200 * 2000 * 10K guess is still valid as a top end. I have seen =
more than 200 posts in one day and we have had more than 2000 =
subscribers and that really is a valid average post size.

And you have to have a margin of error and a plan for growth.

BTW: There is a grand total of 115 members who ARE subscribed to PIC and =
ARE NOT subscribed to OT so there isn't much difference in interest, but =
EE and OT do add a lot of posts. This month, for example: [PIC]:1271 =
[SX]:0 [AVR]:0 [EE]:800 [OT]:695 [BUY]:24 [AD]:23

My thinking is that even if OT and EE were eliminated and the list was =
STRICTLY policed, the EE would sneak into PIC and most people would miss =
the OT. Also, policing sucks so the OT would sneak into PIC as well...=20
