Agreed.  I don't think there is an issue with storage.  Each message
only has to be stored once, @ ~200 per day.  But they have to emailed
2000 times.

The issue is with bandwidth.  TCP/IP is pretty inefficient, so there is
a lot of overhead, plus there is a lot of volume when you multiply even
small emails by 2000 recipients.
