I was skeptical as well, but the math is pretty easy: For example, this message is about 2.5K characters. I'm not sure how to calculate the overhead of the email protocol, TCP/IP packets, etc., which can be significant. But let's ignor it for now. 2500 (characters) * 200 (messages) * 2000 recipients =3D 1 Gig per day. Note that this is bandwidth, *not* storage of the messages, which would only be about 500K per day.
