Yes, for programming 12F's, 16F630 etc. with or without /MCLR configured
as input. It seems to disable programming of 16F877 and the likes,
that's why I have not incorporated it into the design yet.

A TIP120 is just a big cheap darlington transistor. I'll send you a few
tomorrow. Or you can use just about any transistor or darlington that
can effectively short your PSU (for a few ms) with a few mA of base
current.

If you mean the function of driving the TIP120: that is already in the
firmware.
