The pity is that MMC cards are fast going the way of the dinosaur. since SD seems perfectly MMC-compatible in the proprietary protocol, and is faster/more "secure" as well. SD cards are often advertised in retail/online sales, while MMCs are almost always retail --- I was playing with a 32 MB SD card I got for $10 from Amazon, while the 64 meg MMC I bought cost me $50. Bob, since you're working on an MMC project right now, do you know of any place that has small quantities (2-5) of MMC cards (generic or brand name) for reasonable prices?
