It is a neuroscience lab.  They work with a lot of electroneuorolgy, and
needed someone to help with the equipment/make them bits and bobs
to further their studies.  They'd had a couple of bad experiences hiring
out to contractors, and decided to pick someone up full time for a year
to get everything sorted out.
