Maybe you can change to one of the available SMT parts with double (or 4x) the
ROM and make an adapter. But, AFAIK, only 25MHz real operation is
available at present with those parts.

You could always got to a Cygnal 8051 or an AVRMega with 128K bytes of FLASH.
