Well I took the classes last year and some of them this year. I like the dsPIC, although I suspect many of the traditional PIC users are wondering what they are going to use such a device for because it is starting to drift away from the bread and butter of small devices that PIC is synonomous for. I am porting muvium for the dsPIC which means soon you can run the same java code on a 16FXX an 18FXX or a dsPICXX so for me it is a fantastic upward migration path for muvium. Also it means for me at least, a faster way for people to get started with dsPIC without having to learn a whole new architecture. So all in all.. Thumbs up for the dsPIC from me :-) James Caska www.muvium.com uVM - 'Java Bred for Embedded' -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU] On Behalf Of e.d. deutekom Sent: Monday, 21 July 2003 11:28 AM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: [dsPIC]: dsPIC masters class?
