Did they cite any specific abuse ? Must be significant numbers
relative to normal stock movements. And Microchip claim, ISTR,
that they are the leading supplier of micros so how big an abuse
are we talking ? Thousands ? Millions ? By whom ?

Is there some underground network of AVR Special Forces trying
to cripple MC by depleting their stock through sample requsts ?

Don't they have procedures to distinguish between legitimate and
"abusive" sampling ? If you could that is
