It is possible to write realistic-looking models in an animation graphics package, and some of the functionality can be implemented (volume slider can slide, leds blink etc). But there is no bridge for running code in such a thing, or any real hardware simulation. I made a working model for a small mechanical device once, using blender (an animation program).
