Hi everybody ..

Using mplab 5.70.

Project is a 12f629 counting pulses and then bitbang the number of pulses to
a
16f873 for display. This is a retrofit to a previous project.

Problem - have configured mplab and 12f629 for EC osc mode, disabled
comparators
with 0x07 and cleared vrcon. want to count pulses with gp2 (tmr0) ip and bit
bang
with gp4 output.

No matter what I try I can not set gp4 high, am obviously doing something
wrong,
this is my first 8 pin micro project so can anybody with experience of these
help
me out ?
