It takes along time for a site to appear on the search engines. =20 You can also find a service to have your site registered with the engines. Personally I have never tried this since they all seem to want money to do it. Be patient and you will see yourself up very soon. Also get on some rings that are related to your site and you will be surprised at how fast you get onto the engines. Then you can always drop out of the ring if you don't like having their stuff on your page. PS: Your meta tags could be improved to get better results. change to something like: Right now most of the search engines are going to register you as "Sailplane electronic winch launch" witch is not the same as Electronic Sailplane or Sailplane or electronic or Winch launch witch is what the 2nd post does. Sorry for the way OT post, but I've been frustrated with this = problem for a couple of weeks now. I've been working on my new website = (www.geocities.com/uavbob), but I haven't been able to get Google or any = other search engine to list it. I tried www.google.com/addurl, but no = joy. Do any of you have any tips on getting my site listed? I'm thinking = it might just be that Google doesn't list Geocities sites = (understandably, I don't think I would if I were them :O), but I've seen = a couple of other geocities sites there over the years, many with a lot = less content than my site. Please don't go on any geocities rants; I hate it, too, but I can't = afford a "real" website. One of these days, when I get out of school and = get a full-time job....
