A friend who has experience with the SitePlayer tells me they are extremely limited in what they can do. We were looking to transfer serial data from a micro as "transparently" as possible to a PC by Ethernet. Siteplayer was not the one, Xport was the winner. The impression I was left with was SitePlayer was cool if you wanted to activate a few outputs, read a few inputs, or at a stretch send/receive a few short strings, but after that it runs out of legs. He also warned me of bugs and very poor support (ie. none).
