ROFL, I once ordered a replacement remote for an R/C toy. I was surprised = that when the remote came it was in a 3'x3'x1' box! All that for one simple=20 remote control that wasn't even as large as a standard TV Remote. I = guess that maybe someone on the shipping line figures we all deserve a laugh = now and then. -----Original Message----- From: Picdude [mailto:picdude@NARWANI.ORG] Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 4:05 PM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: [OT]: Sometimes you have to ask "why"!? "why"!? Take this example about some samples I just received from Analog = Devices. 2=20 parts, in 8-pin SSOP packaging... http://narwani.org/neil/stuff/AD-samples.jpg The samples are circled in yellow. Perhaps they don't find it = cost-effective=20 to stock smaller boxes just for samples? Perhaps they just had 2 pcs = left=20 and threw it in the bin for the shipping dept to deal with, who just = package=20 what they get? Why!? Oh, why!?
