Whereas I really do appreciate the samples programs that a lot of compone=

mfgrs have, and I also understand the business controls and therefore=20
sometimes not-so-rational-seeming decisions large companies make, I still=

have to ask once in a while.... "why"!?

Take this example about some samples I just received from Analog Devices.=

parts, in 8-pin SSOP packaging...

The samples are circled in yellow.  Perhaps they don't find it cost-effec=
tive=20
to stock smaller boxes just for samples?  Perhaps they just had 2 pcs lef=
t=20
and threw it in the bin for the shipping dept to deal with, who just pack=
age=20
what they get?  Why!?  Oh, why!?
