> BTW has any thing happened with Olin's programmer? Sounded very nice. A few are being tested by PIClisters right now, although it's going slower than I had hoped. The real problem is the up front money for the first production run, and that the low volume US production cost is higher than we had expected. The China cost is much lower, but then we need to come up with money to build a lot of 500. We'll probably build a small quantity here and sell at a higher price than originally intended, then switch production to China if/when the volumes go up. Even at $60-70 sell price, it compares favorably to the Warp13. For that price we provide the ZIF socket, power supply, and serial cable, and works for the PIC 18, 28, and 40 pin pinouts. It also verifies at both Vdd limits, which I don't think the Warp13 does at all (?). ***************************************************************** Embed Inc, embedded system specialists in Littleton Massachusetts (978) 742-9014, http://www.embedinc.com -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
