Second that. I have a (was a good deal on a refurb KT333 m/b at the time)
ABIT-AT7 "MAX!" m/b that has no legacy (COM/LPT/PS2) ports. I got a Startech
1 LPT/2 COM port PCI add-on card (handles all 3 on 1 IRQ). Works
marvellously. When you need to do some quick (as in building time, not data
transmission :-) )computer-to-external system communication without worrying
about the link itself, nothing beats the parallel port!
