> Of course. But I know the symptoms of these things, I don't think anyone can "know" the symptoms of neglecting some of these practises. Missing bypass caps, for example, can cause bizzarre flaky operation in seemingly unrelated parts of the circuit. Poor code documentation invites things like bank setting errors which also have no reliable symptoms. Look, you're the one that came to us with a problem. Obviously there is *something* wrong, and furthermore you obviously don't know what it is. The problem seems to be that you don't know what you don't know, and aren't willing to learn. I see you've been given a lot of good advice from people that clearly know a lot more about electronics and PICs than you do, but you turn around and argue that it's irrelevant instead of heading it. You don't have to take others' advice, but if you're not willing to accept any of it, please stop wasting everyone's time asking for it. ***************************************************************** Embed Inc, embedded system specialists in Littleton Massachusetts (978) 742-9014, http://www.embedinc.com -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
