But still so much better than 'Practical Electronics'!. PE seem to think
that a microcontroller is a device that starts with the part number
"PIC16", there PCB's appear to be hand-taped, and surface mount just
never happened so far as PE projects go! You can almost guess the part
list of any PE project: 741, 7805, 2N3055, BC337, PIC16F84...

Elektor is a bit wacky sometimes, but it's always an interesting read.
