Sounds like you have a lot of spare time.  So should I put in my "order" =
for a=20
11-15V input, 5V out, 300mA max out, buck converter that is size- &=20
cost-effective when compared to a 7805.  :-)  Since the challenge/competi=
tion=20
seems to motivate you, I'll go ahead and say that I can do it within $1,=20
inductor and other passives all included.  I really can't though.
