I'm going to try to do something similar with some EE friends, and any part recommendations would be great. We were thinking PC --> RS-232 or USB --> PIC18F452 -- ??? --- control voltage ---> analogue synth madness! to make a computer to conltrol voltage interface for controlling analogue synthesizers. Basically this would be like a midi-CV converter, except without the midi part, the idea being to have higher resolution signals from the computer becoming CV signals instead of low res 9600 bps 7 bit midi signals. Any suggestions?
