Hmm, maybe you have a bad library, I just fired up the one that comes
with Eagle v4.09r2 and the pinout is the same.  The devices in the Eagle
library that match are: (LM/NE/SE/uA)555N

pin# - schematic name (eagle lib name)

1 - Gnd (GND)
2 - Trigger (TR)
3 - Output (Q)
4 - Reset (R)
5 - Control Voltage (CV)
6 - Threshold (THR)
7 - Discharge (DIS)
8 - +Vcc (V+)

Aside from normal shortcuts for pins (Out = Q, etc) it's the same to me!
