Hi, I have, in the past, seen "dual" crystal sets in standard and low profile configuration. You might find that they retain the same packaging for these "dual" versions, if they manufacture them. What goes? :) Regards, Andre Thomas -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of Alex Kilpatrick Sent: Friday, July 04, 2003 9:52 PM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: [EE]: SMT Clock crystal pad oddity Could someone please look at this: http://rocky.digikey.com/WebLib/Epson/Web%20Data/MC-306%20Series.pdf They have two pads that don't seem to be connected to anything. Why are they there at all? Why don't they just make it half the size? Am I missing something? Thanks! Alex -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
