First check for viruses, many times viruses have this effect.
do some scans for viri in SAFE MODE.
Second, are your cd are SCSI? if yes, re-install aspi from Adaptec. COM it's
free.

Inform me if you still have any problems.

Hi to all ,

My home pc yesterday after easy cd creator installation both cd drive
icons
Are gone. I use win2000 in device manager both of them shows yellow !
mark
And when I click on status tab it says this device is not working
properly I uninstalled
Them and restarted the pc windows finds both  hardware and install them
but after all same
Problem again. I already uninstalled the software that cased this
problem I think
There are more files needs to be reinstalled but I do not know what
files or how as far as hardware
No thing changed I do not want to reinstall win 2000 any help will
highly appreciated.
