I did a serial IR App with the internal RC, and I ran into problems.  I
would get it working, and then come back the next morning and it would
be off (like interpreting a 1000 as 0100).  When I switched to an
external resonator, everything worked fine.=20

That may have just been my crappy code, though.  I am currently doing an
IrDA app with the internal RC, and it is completely solid.  My code is
much better this time.
